Maire DeSiato (Lead Vocals & Percussion)

Maire was born to perform! A music lover almost from the cradle, she claims her first words were based on the lyrics to Janis Joplin’s  “Piece Of My Heart”… well, we’re not entirely sure we believe her, but you get the idea. While honing her considerable gifts of vocal talent and stage presence, she has wowed crowds for the Kozmicnots, the Free Radicals, and the Jersey Shades.

Musical influences include  Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Lucinda Williams, Susan Tedeschi, Fleetwood Mac and the aforementioned Ms. Joplin.

A self-confessed fitness fanatic, Maire’s workouts have served her well by enabling her to create an energetic and passionate stage personality, infusing every song with a pure, raw honesty that instantly endears her to audiences everywhere.

Whether she’s crooning a Patsy Cline or Christina Aguilera ballad, or screaming out “I Hate Myself For Loving You” by Joan Jett, Maire will certainly take a piece of YOUR heart!
