Mo'rock Premier Dance Music

About the band... Lead Vocals, Guitar, Keys - Joey has been a part of the music industry most of his life. His main influence in music was his Dad and thanks to his support and dedication, Joey has been successfully playing for over 25 years. Other musical influences range from Elton John to Journey and The Who. Whether performing a blues ballad, a classic Motown hit, or singing strong harmonies behind his fellow bandmates- Joey is a true entertainer! Lead Vocals, Percussion - Prior to joining Mo'rock, Maire has wowed crowds for the Kozmicnots, the Free Radicals, and the Jersey Shades. Influences include Carole King, Lucinda Williams, Susan Tedeschi and Janis Joplin. Maire’s energetic and passionate stage personality infuses every song with a pure, raw honesty that endears her to audiences everywhere. Lead Guitar, Vocals - Steve's earliest influences were guitarists of Sunday night television of the day such as Roy Clark and Glen Campbell. His later influences were the early hard rock bands out of England, and he played in bands covering that style throughout the 90s. After a break from performing, he studied with a local Blues/Jazz player for two years and this had come in handy putting some Mo' into the rock, and some rock back into the Mo'! Bass Guitar - John is a true veteran of the Central Jersey music scene, starting out on guitar and switching to bass a few years later. He would then become a fixture of the NY/NJ club circuit with his own bands Party, Big Top, and Rox under the management of Sammy Boyd, Bill Luddeke and Jack Fisher agencies. John later formed the The Time Bandits in the mid 90s, and rocked with The Jersey Shades a few years before founding Mo'rock in 2006. Drums, Vocals - Jim, laying down the groove for Mo'rock, started out on sax before switching to drums. A few years later, Jim formed The Ohm's Law band, a staple of the central Jersey music scene for over a decade. Jim always looks forward to playing and providing the solid vocal harmonies that will drive Mo'rock as a great choice for dance and entertainment.
Keyboards, Vocals - Mike, our newest member, was inspired to teach himself the piano after seeing his first Elton John concert as a teenager. Mike played in bands throughout the 80's and 90's covering the gamut of rock classics from Kansas to the B-52s. Other influences include Billy Joel, the Doors' Ray Manzarek, and many more. Mike's versatility has helped open up a whole new world of possibilities for the Mo'rock band.
